Combining Studio Wander & TFB

Grace & Shawn live and work in Seattle, WA and Tiny Fat Bird Studio is the combination of their creative work, from jewelry and metalwork to illustration/textile design.

About Tiny Fat Bird:

Founded in 2013, Tiny Fat Bird Jewelry is a handmade, limited-production metal art studio, featuring ready to wear and one of a kind art jewelry pieces made by Studio Jeweler Grace Matsumoto in Whidbey Island, WA. Tiny Fat Bird releases unique monthly collections of handmade jewelry, accompanying an ongoing minimalist collection of gold and silver earrings, necklaces, and bracelets.

Tiny Fat Bird sources all precious metals from Hoover & Strong, a globally recognized source of 100% recycled precious metals & conflict-free diamonds, and is entirely nickel free.

From Grace:

I am inspired by organic shapes & textures to create pieces that are simple & classic, with a feeling of whimsy. I love working with a torch & changing rigid lines of silver & gold into something playful & organic, always keeping a hint of the original symmetry. I’m trying to create work that is minimalist and adaptable to any wardrobe.

Studio Wander:

Shawn (SGW) has been creating games, stories, and art professionally for decades. He is currently the concept illustrator for the tabletop role-playing game Dungeons & Dragons. His characters and creatures can be found throughout Dungeons & Dragons publications and Magic The Gathering Cards. For Dungeons & Dragons and Magic the Gathering artworks, please visit the Wizard of The Coast website.

As we experiment, new items will be added and old ones will fade away.

All of the Studio Wander work here depicts Shawn's personal works inspired by nature and his surroundings.
