Welcome

Thank you for visiting Tiny Fat Bird: Contemporary jewelry & art by Seattle artist Grace Matsumoto.

I make all of my jewelry in small batches by hand, using metal smithing techniques that have lasted generations - & a few new tricks of my own. I'm constantly evolving my work around an idea of organic geometry & update often with new pieces!

Begun in 2012, Tiny Fat Bird is the culmination of my lifelong fascination with design, metalwork & adornment.

I work in recycled precious metals, sourced from a U.S. refiner who is a globally recognized source of 100% recycled precious metals & ethically sourced diamonds. All of my work is nickel free.

Payments

I accept PayPal & credit card payments through PayPal, as well as Etsy Gift Cards!

Just contact me within: 5 days of delivery

Ship items back to me within: 14 days of delivery

I don't accept cancellations

But please contact me if you have any problems with your order.

The following items can't be returned or exchanged

Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:

  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
  • Items on sale

Returns and exchange details

All sales are final within 14 days of receipt of purchase, & custom pieces including rings sized to order are unfortunately not returnable.

However, I want you to be happy with your jewelry! Please message me if you have any kind of issue & I will work with you to address your concerns.

If you do return something, the piece must be sent back in the original packaging & a secure shipping box via tracked/insured mail at buyer's expense. {I recommend the post office, they've been very reliable & affordable - the flat rate boxes are free - & my postman knows me, and ensures safe deliveries.}

Additional

For rings; please know your size prior to ordering. If you have any questions about your size, feel free to contact me, & I'll walk you through the string-around-the-finger + mm ruler trick. :)

Feel free to contact me about wholesale ordering! I am delighted to have work featured in five beautiful galleries/boutiques from Washington to Montana to Arkansas, & am always interested in hearing from new boutiques featuring locally handmade art.
